Why Now?
Everyone can feel this one without being shown a number. We talk to our friends constantly and see them less than we used to. The group chat is always on; the calendar stays empty.
It isn't that people stopped wanting to get together. Ask anyone and they'll tell you they wish they saw their friends more. The wanting is fine. What keeps breaking is the stretch between "we should do something" and actually standing in the same room — and every tool we have was built for one half of that or the other.
Why This?
We've lived this problem personally.
We watched too many plans die in our own group chats. Not because anyone flaked — because forty messages in, nobody knew who was in, and the day passed.
Chat apps have your people. Calendar apps have the structure. Nothing was built for the crew that talks and plans, week after week. So we built it.
Where this goes.
We're building toward something bigger: the places you already love — the bike shop, the winery, the climbing gym — running their own communities inside Rndvu, so the good local stuff reaches you where you'd plan to go anyway.

We're not chasing a trend. We're building the app we wish existed for our own crews — and applying everything we've learned fixing this problem for everyone else.
How we're building this
We think the best moments in life happen when you’re with your people. We got tired of watching those moments slip by in noisy group chats that were all talk and no plan, so we built the thing we wished existed. We want to enable you and your friends to share those meaningful experiences with seamless, event focused forethought in every detail.
Here's what we care about while we build it.

Coordinating eight people across four schedules is genuinely hard. We do that work in the background so your group never has to feel it. If it looks easy in the app, that's the whole point.

Every product decision starts with the same question: does this help your crew actually get out the door? If the answer is no, it doesn't ship. We're not building a feed. We're building the thing that gets you to Friday night.

That's the important part, so it's the headline. A business can post announcements and events to its community. What its admins can see is limited to their own community:
Members' names
Who RSVP'd to an event, and how they answered
Comments and reactions on their posts and events
They cannot see your private groups, or anything inside them.
You control what you're in.
Mute any thread. Leave any community, any time. Your calendar is only shared with people you've added back — and only if you turn it on.
Some events are free.
Some are ticketed by the business running them. If there's a ticket, you'll buy it from them directly.
We don't read your messages to sell you anything.
When a local event shows up as a suggestion, it's matched on the plan's details — date, area, activity — never on what you and your friends said.
